eMMA cONRad: Founding and Master Instructor, over 10,000 hours teaching experience

Elliott: Principal Instructor, 700+ hours teaching exPERIENCE

Originally from San Diego, California, Emma Conrad is a movement artist currently based in New York. She is a recent graduate of the University of Washington (UW) where she obtained a dual degree with a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Psychology. While at UW she had the honor of receiving the Evelyn H. Green Endowed Scholarship for artistic promise from the Department of Dance in 2021. Emma has performed in choreography by Alana Isiguen, Rachael Lincoln, and Alia Swersky, and with the Chamber Dance Company in City of Rain by Camille A. Brown under the direction of Hannah Wiley. Since relocating to New York, she has had the opportunity to perform works by Julia Ramirez in the All Over Westfest Dance Festival (2024), the Sparks Festival, and in New Jersey. On the side, she teaches dance at Free Mind Dance Studio in Bushwick. Emma is super excited to start teaching at Creative Core and to meet all of you in class!

Elliott: Principal Instructor, 700+ hours teaching exPERIENCE

ELLIOTT LURES-KELLER (he/him), originally from Rochester, NY, is an educator and movement artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently on faculty at Wagner College on Staten Island and also serves as the Master Trainer for Physique 57 Brooklyn. Elliott holds a BFA in Dance from the University at Buffalo and an MFA in Modern Dance from The University of Utah. He is deeply passionate about his work as an educator and is an advocate for co-creating classrooms that are inclusive, empowering, and energizing. As a teaching artist, Elliott has spent a great deal of time teaching for schools and studios throughout the country, and internationally, he has taught in Argentina as a PizArts teaching fellow and Panama City, Panama with the group Movement Exchange. He is actively involved with his partner and collaborator, Mar Lures-Keller, on a variety of choreographic projects and performances. He is thrilled to be part of the team at Creative Core NYC!
