 Private Session Stomach Wrapping

Try our pre/post natal stomach wrapping technique, which we can really concentrate on in Private Sessions. Created by Creative Core founder, Kristen, stomach wrapping keeps the body in shape pre and post natal. Classes are taught full body, but by targeting specific areas of the abdominals and pelvic floor, we keep the core strong and flexible, while also modifying to ensure the body and baby are kept safe.

Benefits of Stomach wrapping include: easing pregnancy discomfort, may reduce time in delivery, and has shown to help the body bounce back quickly post natal. If exercise is continued, mommy’s often come back with a better body than ever!

Remember, you are post natal for life, so its never too late to start stomach wrapping!

Is Group Class safe for me when pregnant?

Quick answer: Yes, lets keep you FIT AF, but we got some helpful timeline suggestions.

First Trimester:

Requires little to no modification. All classes are pretty safe to take, depending on doctor recommendations, except jumpboard. Steer clear jumpboard until you give birth and are ok’d to resume high intensity workouts.

Second trimester:

We encourage clients to take semi-private classes or private classes, but also avoid springboard core camp. Our Semi-Private classes and are small enough for instructors to provide modifications without slowing you or the class down. Springboard core camp, which maxes at 8 students, often uses suppine heavy spring’ed abdominal work , which can cause coning, as well as a lot of planking, which we need to start limiting during this trimester to prevent abdominal separation as your belly grows. Springboard Barre is done standing most of class, so is generally ok.

Third Trimester;

Keep all of the above in mind and keep coming to class if you feel like you can! You know your body! When it does get to the point where several extra modifications are needed, we may let you know its time to concentrate on Private training for the benefit of everyone. We need to keep you and your baby safe, while making sure all clients are getting the extra attention everyone gets at Creative Core!

Post Delivery:

Discuss with your Doctor what your timeline is and return to class! Whether private or group, as long as your doctor approves, we welcome you back and can’t wait to get that pre-baby body back, we may even do better!
